Mxmtoon made her return to performing live shows in Toronto at The Danforth Music Hall on May 4th, 2022, singing to an eager crowd. This was her second time playing in Toronto after over two years for her World Tour, “rising.”

The show opened with a high-energy performance by American singer-songwriter Chloe

Moriondo, prepping the crowd for an amazing night. It wasn’t too long until Mxmtoon, also

known as Maia, came out, her sea of fans screaming in excitement. The talented 21-year-old sang hit songs “Falling for U,” “prom dress,” and many more.

Born in Oakland, California, Mxmtoon gained traction on the internet as early as 2017,

self-releasing songs on Youtube. She began to see a swift growth after the release of her 2018 debut EP, “plum blossom,” which garnered over 100 million streams on Spotify in a little over a year.

Maia’s sophomore album, “Rising", is set to be released on May 20th, 2022. In the meantime, her currently released music is available on all streaming platforms.
