LIAM TAYLOR RELEASES DEBUT EP how’d i get here?

Liam Taylor is set to release his debut EP, titled How’d I Get Here? to all streaming platforms on Friday, February 3, 2023.

With 2022 being an eventful year for Taylor, including playing at Lollapalooza 2022,

achieving overnight stardom on TikTok, and immersing himself in the Germany music scene over winter 2023, the upcoming year has even more to offer. Garnering over 6 million likes and over 30 million views on Tiktok, successfully rolling out the four leading singles, and packing venues all the way from Chicago to Germany, his fanbase continues to multiply by the day leading to his debut release. The coming of age concept EP has been in the making for three years, navigating Taylor’s feelings of self doubt and anger, while also showing the growth and maturity that encapsulates young adulthood.

Taylor, and his producer, Sam Vallianatos, continue to ride the wave in Chicago’s DIY

music scene, performing at several notable events such as headlining the “Wasting Time” Music Video Release Party at AirroMac, Dearborn Dreamscape, and Columbia’s New Student Convocation. They were also featured at Manifest Urban Arts Festival, Subterranean, Double Door, Bookclub Inc., Ground Level, and the Bonus Tracks Stage at Lollapalooza 2022. The two’s music video for their debut single “wasting time” can be found HERE, alongside several other notable performances.

The 21-year-old is a Dallas raised, Chicago based artist finishing his degree at Columbia

College Chicago. The singer-songwriter creates alongside 22-year-old Sam Vallianatos, finishing her degree at Wayne State University. The duo takes influence from musicians such as Remi Wolf, Steve Lacy, Ariana Grande, Amber Mark, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, & Rex Orange County. “wasting time”, “wake up”, and “that’s not love!!!” are just fractions of Taylor’s much anticipated debut EP drop, How’d I Get Here.
