Hard funk band Glass Bandit has released their latest single “Ghost” just in time for spooky season. The track is available on all streaming services this October 31st.
Glass Bandit’s latest track is a fun, fabulous funk soundscape with a full band sound featuring trumpets and saxophone and crisp vocals. Made for a Halloween party playlist, it’s the perfect song to groove to this October.
The lyrics also provide a nice dichotomy to the soundscape, mourning a love that is slipping away. “Everyone knows love changes, but nothing can prepare you for the feeling when your love sticks around as someone else’s love for you fades away,” says the band.
“Ghost” features music and lyrics by Glass Bandit, production, engineering, mixing, and mastering by Josh Hugo, Murphy Smith on bass, Donovan Miller on drums, Ben Schenberg on guitar, Josh Hugo on lead guitar, Owen Heffernan on keyboards, Ryan Smith on percussion, Ally Fabes on saxophone, and David Thal on trumpet.
