What is your favorite gig you’ve played so far?
Hard Rock Hell, the electric went down on stage and the crowd started chanting Bastette. Nothing beats an enthusiastic crowd.
Do you have any odd stories about how a song came about?
Rollercoaster took me 10 months to finish. I couldn’t get a chorus that I felt worked with the song, I finished it on my birthday and knew that it was complete, sometimes writing songs can be frustrating when you know that there is something good about parts of the song but the rest might not cut it.
How/when did you get your start playing music?
I started playing piano when I was 7 but I’ve sang for as long as i could talk.
Why do you think a specific genre of music speaks to someone over others?
Rock has always had a soul and a fire that doesn’t exist in other genres of music. The emotion and passion that you can hear in a song when
What role does music play in your life?
It's everything it's joy and pain, a release of emotion that you can’t find in any other form.
What is your favorite book/show/movie lately?
I love peaky blinders and the Witcher.
Do you have any rituals that you do before/during recording?
Drink plenty of water and cut out coffee.
What makes lyrics good?
Not being generic. I like to twist lyrics and phrase things in a way that people wouldnt usually think of. In the new single Psycho the key line in the song is ‘Claiming psycho as mine.’ Which isn’t something that would usually said, its about taking the power out of the word.
How do you know when a song is finished? Is it ever?
A song is never finished… you always have another idea after its been recorded that you wish you’d included
What sacrifices have you made to follow your dreams?
Music comes before everything, but on a small level when I'm gigging I cut a lot of different food and drink out to not interfere with my voice.
What do you love/hate most about your life as a musician?
I love the creative process, when you’re actually in the studio and you hear the songs come to life.
What message do you want your fans to take away from your music?
I love music that speaks to you, whether that be an emotion a sensation a memory, I want the fans to feel the music, the pounding of the drums the screeching guitars and hear that the lyrics have come from a deep rooted emotion.

Where do you find meaning in your life?
I’m really into holistic therapy and crystal healing… I find it helps with the trials and tribulations that life throws at you sometimes.

I love all things witchy.
What first got you into music?
Raiding my dads CD collection which is now significantly deflated because I ruined the ones I got my hands on.
What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?
Music evokes emotions that nothing else does.
What’s the best piece of advice another musician has given you?
Don’t let the business side of the industry destroy your passion for music.
